A Love Affair with MV Doulos and Books

First our family planned to go to the MV Doulos. But then madamme Montaño announced that there our school is having a trip to MV Doulos. So what we did was we planned to go to the MV Doulos ship before we were having a trip with my classmates. I was so excited that I am going to MV Doulos twice. I already kept my money in my pocket. I had kept bigger money to buy enough books. But one day while I was trying to get my money on my pocket to pay for my fare, the money was lost. I was so shocked. I was really nervous at that time because I've lost a little bit big money. And another big problem was I don't have enough money to pay for my fare. What I did was not to pay the jeeney driver. That's what they call "namokong". I have to do that because I don't know what to do. On the day that we went to the MV Doulos ship I was really sad because my money was gone. And my mother only gave me a little bit of money. But when we arrived at Pier 1 I was so excited. When we entered the book affair of MV Doulos there were so many books. I was amazed of what I saw. But still I was sad because I don't have enough money to buy a book. So what I did was to get out of there immediately and to breathe fresh air from the sea. But when I wanted to go inside the book affair again, the security didn't allow me. Then, I bought some icecream so that it can cool me too. After eating my ice cream, I went to a small place of the ship. There I read a lot of books and it’s so fun. I can’t believe my eyes were already surviving in reading so many books. After a few more minutes, we were called by our adviser to go down the ship because we will go to another room of the ship. There we had games. There was also a question and answer portion. And many other games I was really enjoying my time there at the MV Doulos ship. That was really a fine, funny, and a nice day for me. Until next time good bye!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Being Taught by Students

When we celebrated the Know Your School Day celebration the students were bored when I saw them with their hands on their face. And thinking what will they do after the subject. Will they eat their snacks or will they do their blog project? But I think that they aren't bored because their teacher was their classmate. Maybe they are bored because they can't move freely or do something freely while their classmate is discussing a lesson because their true teacher or the professor of that subject is watching them. Just like us. When the bell rang for the subject Science A Jacque and Windel directly went to the front and prepared for the discussion for the things they will use in explaining and discussing the lesson assigned to them. Just then Madame Erlinda Gallo came up into the scene. I was shocked because I thought that teachers won't be guiding or guarding the class discussion. I am so bored. Wait a minute I have to tell you something fishy. Did you know that Jacque is clever and selfish? I'll give you hmmm…..a little bit of this thing.......... When we encouraged Dan Clever Gigantone to apply for the subject Science A Dan Clever Gigantone agreed. When he went to the faculty he met Jacque and Windel near the clerk. Dan asked Windel, "Is it difficult to apply the subject Science A?” Windel also answered, “No, it is only very easy. You can apply if you want." Windel stopped their conversation because Jacque pinches the hips of Windel and then stepped on the feet of Windel so that Windel will stop in giving the information in applying the subject. That's why I don't want to listen to Jacqueline Martha Malazarte because every time I see her face I always remember what he did to Dan Clever Gigantone. She also did a lot of things to our group which we don't like. If she will apologize to what she did I think our group won't forgive her. There are very many issues about Jacqueline Martha Malazarte which we didn't mention to everyone. You know our group is also backbiting to the people who backbites us too. We will know who backbites our group because someone will tell our group who backbites us. I hate people who backbites us. But I am also a backbiter a backbiter. I know who am I and I know the things that I do. I don't mean if I do the things that you don't want me to do. But if I do the things that are really irritating I will stop those things. If a lot of people will backbite me well of course I will also backbite them or it will end up to a fight. But you know I am not that bad. I am just influenced by my neighbors. I've only showed my true attitude for the last three years. But never judge me for you don't know who I am in personal. Never judge a book by its cover. Remember that quote or else you will be in a big trouble................................

What do stars and skies tell me about life?

Stars and skies means a lot to me. i always look at the skies whenever I am lonely and whenever I have a serious or a big problem. It helps me in my problem because it comforts whenever I am not comfortable. When I look at he skies I always remember my great grandfather who helps me in my homeworks in the last few years. He told me a lot of stories during my bedtime hours. I really want my great grandfather because I really feel comfortable when we are enjoying our lives together. When I look at the stars and skies now, I always remember the times when we are going to the mall and eating waffle happily. I really enjoy the company of my great grandfather. I wish my great grandfather is still here strong and alive so that we can another waffle in the mall. And another story for me to be listening. My great grandfather gave me so much love and care. Now I am still remembering the words he said for the last few years. He said that if the time will come that I shall leave the world my dear you must be staying strong and standing in your own feet. So now I say to the world that I can stand in this world by my own feet. But I still need the love and care of my parents. I am also happy now because my grandfather is fast recovering from his sickness. He has a high blood pressure and last year he had a heart attach that's why we were forced to go to the province last December because he wanted that everyone in our family should go there. It is because he thinks that we don't love him because we didn't go there since he had a heart attach. We only went there after he go out of the hospital. But we gave him a reason that we are adjusting to our money on that times because we lack money. And the fare in going there is almost a hundred pesos. But still we went there because we love our grandfather. And I don't want to lose another love one again. For the last few months I thought of the thing that I want no one from our family should be leaving this world but I realized that the god almighty is the only one who knows when will each person leave this mortal world. Now I am living in a happy life. And I want that this happy times of my life will still be going on and on. So far and so on. But if I will leave this mortal world in this young age of mine, I won't do anything but to accept that I must leave this world right now. Stars and skies really means a lot to me. It really digs up the memories that was left by my great grandfather for the last few years or even a decade. Because I am already twelve years of age now and my great grandfather died last year. Now I must really go on so that I will reach my dreams.

Our Dog

Our dog's name is Bulok. He was named after his father Kulob. We asked for Bulok in our neighborhood last year. He was given birth by a female dog named Lou. Lou already gave birth to three sets of puppies. The first set of puppies was gave birth by Lou last September 5, 2006. The second set of puppies was gave birth by Lou last October 26, 2006. And the third set of puppies was gave birth by Lou last November 1, 2006. He was given birth during the third set of puppies. His mother already had three dog friends. His mother is a play girl. Lou is always flirting with other dogs. I always kick or throw a stone to Lou whenever he is flirting with other dogs. I don't want to see a dog flirting with another dog. I always throw them a stone. Whenever Bulok is also flirting with a female dog I always splash him a dipper of water. Then our dog runs immediately because he is afraid of water but if it is time for him to take a bath we will always teach him a lesson because he always run if we will splash him a dipper of water. Bulok is guarding our second house near the river. Whenever there is a flood he always hides under the table behind our balcony because he is afraid of the strong flowing currents of the water. If Bulok is guarding our second house he barks to the people who pass by our house but if he goes to our first house, he will not even dare to make a little sound / noise or even bark at all. He is a very good dog if he is roaming and playing around our first house but he is too dangerous if he is guarding our second house. I always kick Bulok because if I want to goes to our second house he always blocks my way. I am very lucky because we have a dog just like Bulok. He is very kind and polite. But if you will harm him he will harm you too. But better not harm him because it is too dangerous for you to fight our dog because he is an endangered species. It is better to prevent from being bitten by a dog rather than curing the bitten part of your body. But if Bulok barks to a person I always kick him and splash him dipper of water. I always warn Bulok whenever he barks at a certain person because he might bite that person and we need to spend a lot of money for the curing of the person that was bitten by Bulok. I will never let my dog bite a person or else I will kill my dearest dog. I don't want to enter a big problem just because of my dearest dog. If Bulok acts a strange act just like he wants to bite someone I will directly consult him to a veterinarian near the church. I will really take good care of my dog. My dearest dog..........

My Days in U.P

I am lonely in my first days of my first year high school. I didn't have friends yet in University of the Philippines. My friends in my first days of school are the following: Chanel Anjelex Elmido, Marie Therese Baquilta, Bridgette Marie Angcon, Dan Clever Gigantone, Emme Angelique Generoso, Leslie Ann Destajo, and George Mañapao Jr. When we changed our places, I had another set of friends. They were Queenie Lee Tanjay, Karla Katharina Salazar, Maria Cielo Sanchez, Inah Jake Olofernes, Helena Vida Membrillas, Jhon Louie Tudtud, and Leswlie Ann Destajo. I also had my first teachers. They were Madamme Rosario Montaño, Madamme Louella Manlunas, Madamme Nuñez, Madamme Erlinda Gallo, Mr. Daniel Nellas, Ms Jo-ann Maquilan, etc., etc., etc. I had also my friends in the higher years. They were Ate Christlyn, Ate Milka, Kuya Gener, Kuya Baldo, Kuya Artsron, Kuya Jhon Albert, Kuya Byron, Ate Theresa Yee, Ate Gabrielle, Ate Michelle Godito, Ate Mary Grace, Ate Ernestine Sacmar and many more I really enjoyed my life here in the University of the Philippines. My aunt and Uncle were very supportive to me. They are Aunt Dianne Baricuatro and my uncle, Uncle Isagani Baricuatro. And of course my family is very supportive to me. My mother Maria Geocit Español, My father is Fermin Español, My brothers are Geosfer Español and Godfrey Español. And lastly, my sister is Geomariemen Español. My mother and father hope that I will survive here in th University of the Philippines. And I also hope what they hope to. I will really study hard so that my family and other people that was very supportive to me will not be discourage of my grades. I will do my best to reach my dreams and to have a better and longer lasting future.Wait aminute I'm not yet done with my blog. It still didn't reach to five hundred words. I must complete the following number of words required in my blog project. Let's continue with our conversation. I am really having a difficulty in our subject Math. It is really difficult to understand our Math subject. Imagine it is four years advance for the lessons of a first year student. If you can see the book that is used by our teacher it is already College Algebra. I am not used to have an advanced lesson for four years. I am only used to have an advanced lesson for one year. Now, I am still adjusting to our lessons in Math. Until now our lessons in Math are very difficult. But I need to understand what we are discussing so that I can pass the subject Math A. I will really do my best to pass this math subject so that my family and my relatives will not be discouraged. I need to study hard for the upcoming periodical test. I really need to pass the periodical test in Math and all other subjects. I will ask some help from the fourth years to teach me the lessons that are difficult for me to understand. I will help myself to pass through this obstacle in my life. I can really do this. Aja!!!!!

PDA Top 6

Do you know who this mysterious PDA Top 6 is? This is a group of five girls and an imaginary friend. I am a member of this mysterious PDA Top 6. It means Poisonous Demon-Angels Top 6. We are six in the group. Our leader is Maria Cielo Sanchez. But first of all I would like to introduce to you the members of PDA Top 6. PDA Top 1 is me. I am Geomariefer Español. PDA Top 2 is Helena Vida Membrillas. PDA Top 3 is Inah Jake Olofernes. PDA Top 4 is Karla Katharina Salazar. PDA Top 5 is Maria Cielo Sanchez. And lastly, PDA Top 6 is Chik Messo. Chik Messo is our imaginary friend. Chik contains the first letters of our names: Cielo, Helena, Inah, Karla and her nickname is Jojo. Her family name Messo also contains the first letters of our family names: Membrillas, Español, Salazar, Sanchez and Olofernes. Messo was not the first PDA Top 6. First, who joined in our group was Dan Clever Gigantone but we let him quit. Second who joined in our group was Louanne Mae Cadungog. The five of us remained. Then we heard that Louanne told Ernestine and Leslie that we call them V-Cut. Cielo was angry because Louanne spilled one of her secrets while Cielo didn't even dare to tell or spill one of Louanne's secrets. Wait a minute, we've talked so long but still I didn't introduce to you the history of our group. Our group started last January 3, 2007. First, we only had three members. It was only Cielo, Karla and I. Helena our group. Then, we invited Inah to join our group. PDA Top 6 started when the issue of George and Leejee floated. We began to investigate about their relationship. Until we caught them cuddling inside our classroom. It ended up to five violations of PDA. We planned to tell the guidance counselor about this but we stopped because the Helena's mom told us an advice. She said that we should not disturb them so that we won't enter a big problem. So we did. We didn't tell the guidance counselor about this. We had already a lot of enemies. Inah our PDA Top 3 always fight the people who fight her or our group. She is the spokesperson of our group. Our group is fond of hanging out in the mall. One time when we watched Tulo-tulo sa Marso we were so happy but we aren't complete when we watched the 3 plays. Helena was late. She was left outside Cinema 1. She was late for only two minutes but still she wasn't able to get inside. After the show we roamed around S.M. with Helena's mom. Until an idea came up to Helena's mom that she will treat us to Jollibee. And so she did. She ordered five regular meals. After all we already went home. But she had to go back because she wasn't able to watch the plays. I gave her one ticket for her Ate Kaka so that she will also have a companion. My problem now is that we have to write a reaction paper. I hate to write comments, opinions and other stuffs connected to the reaction paper. I hate to write those things and especially fake opinions etc., etc., etc.

My First Day of School

I'm so excited on my first day of school in the University of the Philippines. After along time of waiting, the final day comes. I woke up early in the morning and went to school early. When I entered the school campus it was so quiet. There are only few people roaming around. When I entered the room that was assigned to me it was so silent too. I directly found a seat at the front of the table. While I was thinking of what are we going to do during our class hours, I felt tired. Maybe I am tired of thinking so I felt asleep. When the bell rang my seatmate woke me up. When I knew that the bell rang, we directly ran to the open court. When we are doing the flag ceremony, I was amazed on their way of doing the flag ceremony. Here in the University of the Philippines they will sing the National Anthem, recite the Panunumpa sa Watawat and Panatang Makabayan, and sing their university hymn. While in my former school, we only had our prayer that was articulated as a song. We also sing the National Anthem, recite the Panatang Makabayan and then were done. After the flag ceremony, I slowly walked along the corridors and entered the room silently. Still my classmates aren’t talking with each other. Maybe we are just shy to talk to each other because many of us didn’t know each other’s names. In our first period of classes, the teachers were not around. Maybe they are busy of doing something. So what we do was staying silent in our temporary seats. After a few minutes some of my classmates began to talk to each other. But still some of my classmates aren’t talking. A seat of mine introduced his name. His name was Dan Clever Gigantone. He also introduced some of his friends or his former classmates to me. They were Emme Angelique Generoso, Jhon Elmar Landiza, Leslie Ann Destajo, and George Mañapao. I thought that Dan isn’t a good and kind boy but I was wrong. He was good, nice and outspoken to me. Also he is talkative. He is also friendly at most of the times. After 2 hours of waiting at least a teacher came in. Her name was Prof. Rosario Montaño but she would rather want us to call her Madame Montaño. We introduced our names too. When one of my classmates introduced her name I was amazed of her voice. Her voice was really small and cute. Her name was Mayflor H. Deguit. I also knew many schools like STEC (Science and Technology Education Center), Mt. Sinai Learning Center, Bario Luz Elementary School, San Roque Learning Center, Lahug Christian School and many more. Many of my classmates now also joined the graduation in Abellana Gymnasium last year. I was really amused of the different things that are happening around me. Life here in University of the Philippines is really different if you compare it in your elementary life. They are too different especially if you came from a public school. I am really excited of what is really in the University of the Philippines. I am excited of the new things that will happen and encounter me in my life as a U.P. High student.
